Independent International Festival F/X CON
MAGIC OF SPECIAL EFFECTS - ART AND THE REALITY.
What did F/X CON bring to its participants…
The members and the guests noted the dedication, relevance,
friendly atmosphere and high professionalism of organizers
and of all festival's participants.
The
main line of the festival was the final contest of Special
Make-up artists.
There were two rounds before the final contest. In May, 2007
there were 237 participants, who took part in the first round.
57 participants from them went to the second qualifying round.
The best five special make up effects artists entered the
final contest.
The special make-up effects the in final contest evaluated
on the following criteria: technology-4 points, creativity
-5 points.
Besides the professional jury, by head of Brian Wade / USA /, there were the so-called Viewers Jury. At the fifth place in the competition settled Lenka Sekaninova / Czech Republic /,
the fourth place – Ivana Rujechkova / Czech republic /
the third - Natalia Kolesnikova / Russia /
the second place – Sandy Kumalakanta / Serbia /
the first – Vlad Taupesh / Czech republic /
The
Literary Line of the fest
24 writers took part in a literary line of the festival
The International Certificates "For the great contribution
to the development of culture and art", Diplomas "The
laureate of the International festival F/X CON 2007"
took: Frantishka
Verbenska, Jenny Nowak, Ivan Mackerle, Anna Shohova, Richard
Pachman, Jaroslav Mostecky, Leonard Medek, Lucie Seifertova,
Giuseppe Maiello, Katrin Taillefer, Galina Puntusova and Karen
Mahoney.
The Russian writer Andrei
Belyanin took the International Certificate of Merit
“For outstanding achievements in the field of World literature”.
This Certificate was given to A.Belyanin according to his
next novel „The Vampire's taste“, which has been translated
into the Czechish.
The
Photo Line
Natalia Kolesnikova from Astrkhan /Russia/ won the highest
award “The new opening of the year 2007 ”.
Michael Nemechek - art photographer from Sadska / CZR / took
the second place.
The
Film Line
The amateur filmmakers as well as their professional colleagues
have participated in the filmmaking. The diploma and the title
“The hopes of modern cinematography” have been
given to the young amateur from Minsk / Belarus / Alexey Khaletski.
