Festival FX CON 2008 was finished. There was a lot of visitors, guests and participants of the festival last year . The program was made in details and very interesting and it took place not only in the surroundings of the castle, but also behind.

The beginning of the Festival FX CON 2008 was attended by a folk music group "Skomoroshya Sloboda". They greeted the director KIC Mr. Langr and their beloved Czech land. The culmination of the opening was an unexpected emergence of the oldest inhabitant of the castle - the castle Keeper of Secrets.

The Keeper Of the Secrets invited all the visitors into the world of Czech legends. Participants and guests of the Festival came into the castle cellar with no-confidence. There was the expanded exhibition "The Shades of old Prague ".

The audience were the most famous Prague ghosts. Visitors could see White Lady, Turk carrying a cut off head of his wife, Witch Certovka, Doctor Kitl, Panhandler, Rarach, Monk and a Prostitute and others.

Another part of the Festival FX CON 2008 was a contest between masters of special make-up effects. And there was also a unique workshop where the audience could see how to create real monsters. Was attended by: Vlad Taupes, Josef Rarach, Alex Ukolov, Natalia Tatarintseva, Natalia Kolesnikova,  Stanislav Lebedev and others.

At the end of the contest the best works were presented: The Ghost of Prague, the Golden Autumn, the Faun, Devils, etc.

Guests of the Festival FX CON had the opportunity to take a picture with all these Creatures!

During the Festival FX CON there was also a literary conference "Wings of the night", which was attended by: Jenny Nowak, Frantishka Verbenska,  Ivan Mackerle, Anna Shohova, Katrin Taileffer, Radek Martínek, Andrey Belyanin, Galina Puntusova and others.

In the evening program there was a gala concert, opened by an excellent professor - Tonino (Vaclav Rezek) with his world famous "Concerto for 10 fingers". The other concert performers were: Kapela Asthenia, Richard Pachman, "Skomoroshya Sloboda" etc.

The exhibition of young hopeful photographers Jan Kolar, Natalia Kolesnikova, Natalia Tatarintseva took place on the Festival as well.

There was also an opening of the "International devils club" during the Festival FX CON 2008. Mephistopheles, who elected the President of the club - Jirka Jodl, the current head of the www.certi.cz. The organization is envolved in the revival of folk – mystical tradition in the Czech Republic .

At the end of the Festival FX CON 2008, all members and guests of the festival were awarded prizes and diplomas.

Festival FX CON 2008 is over. It found many new friends and admirers. We are looking forward to meet you at the Festival FX CON in 2009!
